On October 21–22, the A. Scarlatti Conservatory in Palermo will host “Extended Partnerships: From the Current State to Future Strategies,” an international event promoted by MUSIC4D, a PNRR-funded project aimed at transforming the AFAM system through research, digitalization, and advanced technologies.

The event will bring together experts, institutional representatives, and academics to address regulatory challenges linked to the PNRR, build effective research networks, and explore the intersection of art and innovation. A key focus will be the interactive workshop on partnership strategies and the presentation of best practices from project M4C2 1.3, which seeks to preserve and enhance Southern Italy’s musical heritage through tools such as AI, virtual reality, and robotics.

Significant space will be dedicated to dialogue between Italian and international institutions, with the goal of defining shared guidelines and strengthening Southern Italy’s role as a cultural innovation lab. The meeting will close with musical performances that embody the spirit of tradition meeting technological evolution.
