Artificial intelligence and the new frontiers of music, the Palermo Conservatory at DIDACTA 2025 in Florence

Palermo, March 11, 2025 – From composition to music production, from artistic experience to artificial intelligence: this and much more will be brought to the stage by the Alessandro Scarlatti Conservatory of Music in Palermo at Didacta Italia, the foremost fair on education and innovation in the school sector, held in Florence from March 12 to 14 at the Fortezza da Basso.

On Wednesday the 12th, the Sicilian Region and the Palermo Conservatory will present – starting at 3:00 PM – the session Studying at an Institution of Higher Artistic Musical Education (AFAM): the model and experience of the Alessandro Scarlatti Conservatory of Music in Palermo, a seminar designed to illustrate the institution’s educational offerings through a dialogue of voices and performing arts, with a focus on the contribution of digital technologies and transversal professional skills; an element more than ever distinctive in developing new scenarios for experiencing and enhancing musical heritage, a concept fully embraced within the Music4D community project.
