Valeria Seidita

A researcher at the Department of Engineering at the University of Palermo, Valeria Seidita specializes in educational robotics, applied artificial intelligence, and interaction design. In MUSIC4D, she leads the university team responsible for developing AI solutions for music learning, with a particular focus on interactive educational support. Her research spans social robotics and the use of generative AI in immersive learning environments. She is responsible for integrating the humanoid robot Pepper into the project’s modules—a figure that interacts with students, supports music composition, and stimulates creativity through adaptive algorithms. Her work is documented in scientific publications and contributions to international conferences on augmented education. Her vision blends innovation ethics, talent development, and accessibility in music education through technology.
