Renzo Turatto

An economist with a distinguished career in Italian public administration, he holds a degree in Political Science and an MBA from the Scuola Mattei. He began his career as a financial analyst at Agip Petroli, before joining the Ministry of Economy in the early 1990s as a member of the Public Investment Evaluation Unit. From 2002 to 2005, he served as Managing Authority and Head of the Budget and Economic Development Department for the Calabria Region. Between 2008 and 2012, he was Head of the Department for Public Administration Digitalization and Innovation at the Prime Minister’s Office.
From 2012 to 2016, he taught Digital Innovation at the National School of Administration, and from 2017 to 2019, he led the OECD Venice Centre for Culture and Local Development.
He has lectured at the Universities of Perugia, Udine, and LUISS Rome, and has been awarded the Tarantelli Prize for Labour Economics and the Federsanità Award for “The Courage to Act.”
He is currently the Administrator of Concresco Srl, where he is responsible for the economic and financial monitoring of the MUSIC4D project.
